MEET YOUR TEACHER

The way I teach has been shaped not only by professional training, but by knowing personally what it means when familiar ways of moving or participating no longer fit.

My relationship with yoga, Tai Chi, meditation and mindful movement has developed over more than two decades through study, personal practice and teaching.

I created Your Practice Circle for people who are not looking for another exercise class, but for a practice that can meet them where they are today.

EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

My professional education spans yoga, Tai Chi, meditation, mindful movement and accessible practice. It includes completion of a 1,000-hour Professional Yoga Teacher Program, certification as an Accessible Yoga Teacher, accreditation as a Meditation Teacher and training as a Tai Chi for Health Instructor.

I completed my Accessible Yoga Teacher Training with Jivana Heyman, founder and director of Accessible Yoga. The training deepened my commitment to welcoming choice, adaptation and different ways of participating.

MY TEACHING JOURNEY

I still remember my first experience of Tai Chi. I felt something I could not quite describe. I only knew that it changed how I experienced movement—and, over time, how I experienced myself.

That curiosity led to years of studying and teaching Tai Chi, yoga, meditation and mindful movement.

Over time, professional study, teaching and my own changing relationship with movement taught me to look beyond what a movement is supposed to look like and focus instead on the person experiencing it. Practice does not need to be performed perfectly to be meaningful.

Your Practice Circle grew from the practice I was searching for: a gentle blend of yoga, Tai Chi and mindful movement that helps people meet themselves where they are today and discover what becomes possible over time.
